Not to be confused with Josh Hartnett's other film "40 Days and 40 Nights." Hartnett is one half of a husband-and-wife cop team who has to protect a small Alaskan town during 30 days of night. Of course, 30 days without sunlight means that vampires are going to attack and if I were to be attacked by vampires, I know that Josh Hartnett would be the first guy I'd call to save me.

"Beowulf"

Angelina Jolie? Check. Naked Cartoon of Angelina Jolie? Check. That's right, she can't even do a cartoon without stripping. Okay, it's not really a cartoon, it's an animated feature about "the mightiest warrior of them all, Beowulf." Angelina's not the only big name involved -- Ray Winstone, Anthony Hopkins, John Malkovich, Robin Wright Penn, Crispin Glove -- also are involved. The film is directed by Robert Zemeckis, who directed "Forest Gump" and the animated "The Polar Express."

"The Darjeeling Limited"

This was the film that got a lot of attention around the time when Owen Wilson's "possible but who really knows" suicide attempt occurred. Luckily, Wilson is okay, and now this movie is out on DVD. Directed by Wes Anderson, "The Darjeeling Limited" is a comedy about three brothers who hope to reconnect by embarking on a train trip across India. Owen Wilson, Adrien Brody and Jason Schwartzman star as the brothers. Some familiar faces from Anderson's films make appearances, like Anjelica Huston and Bill Murray.

"Death at a Funeral"

A formal funeral ceremony breaks into chaos when a family is forced to come to terms with the secrets they share. Somehow this is billed as a comedy, and with Alan Tudyk in the cast it's believable despite the not-so-funny premise.

"In The Shadow of the Moon"

ThinkFilm has been putting out a lot of good documentaries lately. "In The Shadow of the Moon" is a documentary in which the surviving crew members from NASA's Apollo missions tell the story of their voyage. The film only had a small theatrical run, so this DVD should reach a much larger audience.
