"Bella"An international soccer star is on his way to sign a big contract when his career comes to an abrupt end. Meanwhile, a waitress is struggling to make it in a big city and discovers something about herself that she is not ready to deal with. The movie brings these two characters together, turning a normal day into an extraordinary experience. The film had a small release in theatres last October.
"First Sunday"
Best friends and really horrible petty criminals, Durell (Ice Cube) and LeeJohn (Tracy Morgan) have one week to pay back a big debt or Durell will lose his son. So what are a couple guys to do? Rob their neighborhood church of course. But it wouldn't be much of a comedy if there weren't some comic hijinks and that comes from getting stuck in the church overnight with the church's congregation. Katt Williams and Chi McBride co-star.
"Over Her Dead Body"
Eva Longoria stars in this creepy romantic comedy about a poor guy (Paul Rudd) who is haunted by his dead girlfriend. Longoria plays the creepy dead ghost of the girlfriend who follows Rudd's character around while he's got a blossoming relationship going on with a psychic (Lake Bell).
"P.S. I Love You"
Hey, look. Another romantic comedy with the dead spouse playing a key role. This time it's a bit less creepy since the dead guy is coming to his bride through a series of letters written prior to his death. The messages begin arriving on Holly's (Hillary Swank) 30th birthday with a demand for her to go out and have fun. Following that message more letters show up sending her on various tasks. The letters, of course, end with "P.S. I Love You."
