"The Bucket List"

Two terminally ill men, played by Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman, escape the hospital and embark on a road trip with a wish list of things to do before they die. Despite Freeman and Nicholson in leading roles, the film didn't have any legs in theatres.

"John Adams"

Critically the HBO mini-series was a hit, and it's ready to find a larger audience on DVD. The miniseries chronicles the life and times of John Adams, one of the founding fathers of the U.S. Paul Giamatti stars as the man himself, with Laura Linney co-starring as his wife Abigail.

"Jumper"

Hayden Christensen stars in this film with the special power to teleport anywhere in the world. Predictably, the government has a problem with people who can teleport into banks undetected. So they let Samuel L. Jackson loose on the teleporters. Anakin Skywalker teleporting for an hour and a half was not very appealing to theatre audiences. These types of films tend to do well on DVD and the shelves are definitely missing an action movie this week. We ran a full review on its theatrical release at "Jumper" lands hard in theatres.

"The Other Boleyn Girl"

Natalie Portman and Scarlett Johansson fight over the second (horrible) Incredible Hulk, Eric Bana. Portman's character is sent by her father to seduce the King (Bana), but Johansson's character falls in love with the King instead. Then the girls have to wrestle in Jello to see who gets to marry the King. Alright, maybe I just made up that last part.

"Witless Protection"

Oh, Larry the Cable Guy, your schtick grows tired. Despite the punny title, this movie was a large flop (thankfully) and we might just get a break from the faux redneck. Get 'r done, for sure.
