Eola Hills Winery offers a spectacular "Bike Wine Tour" every Sunday in August. The tour takes cyclists through the scenic Willamette Valley, stopping at various wineries and viewpoints along the way. The ride starts and ends at Eola Hills Winery, but the route varies each Sunday.

Northern Route (Aug. 5 and 19): A moderate to difficult ride, 45 to 52 miles, depending on skill level. Ride through lush vineyards and picturesque countryside, stopping at seven area wineries. Box lunches are served along the way and the day ends at Eola Hills Winery with a salmon BBQ and wine tasting.
Southern Route (Aug. 12 and 26): An easy to moderate ride, again, which highlights the scenic Willamette Valley. You may choose from a 45 mile ride or the longer 70 mile loop. Besides a box lunch break, the southern route includes stops at two wineries, a covered bridge and a ferry ride across the Willamette River.

The rides are supervised by Eola Hills' staff and include a support vehicle to carry wine purchases or give weary guests a lift. Rides start at 8 a.m. and cost is $65 per person. Contact the winery for reservations and more information on the bike routes at (503) 623-0350. Eola Hills is located at 501 S. Pacific Hwy (99 W), Rickreall.
