"Drillbit Taylor"

Three freshmen are excited for their first day of high school. That is until they meet the school bully, who comes off a bit like Hannibal Lecter. To counteract the bully, they place an ad in Soldier of Fortune magazine where they get in touch with Drillbit Taylor (Owen Wilson) who enrolls them in some mental and physical training. As the trailer points out, Wilson's character is not exactly the sharpest tool in the army's shed. Drillbit Taylor plays at Regal Movieland 7, Regal Lancaster Mall Stadium 11, and Independence Cinema. It is rated PG-13 and has a runtime of 1 hour 42 minutes

"Shutter"

A newlywed couple discovers ghostly images in photographs after a tragic accident. Assuming a connection between the images and the accident, they investigate how it could be happening. This is a horror movie so that's where things go horribly wrong.  "Shutter" is playing at Regal Movieland 7, Regal Santiam 11, Independence Cinema. It is rated PG-13 and has a runtime of 1 hour 25 minutes.

"Meet the Browns"

Another Tyler Perry movie. Another Madea appearance. Yawn. Tyler Perry is a talented guy, but there are limits to going back to the well and that was like 20 movies ago for Madea. In "Meet the Browns," Angela Bassett plays a single mom who takes her family to the funeral of her father, who she has never met. There she and her family are introduced to the Brown family. "Meet the Browns" is rated PG-13 and is playing at Regal Santiam 11. It has a runtime of 1 hour and 40 minutes.
