This is a weekly column on the reality tv show "The Mole." You can catch The Mole Mondays on ABC at 10 p.m.

Mission #1: Chained Together

The players got chained together with a sophisticated game of trust.

The player who was allowed by their team to reach a cage containing a key received an exemption. If any of the players take the exemption, anyone left behind has to sleep outside in the cold.  If all of the players make it off the locked chain, $25,000 is added to the pot. Of course, each of the players attack each other about taking the exemption over unlocking themselves to continue on with the game. When all is said and done, Mark was left all by himself on the chain. Mark throws off a little of my suspicion and doesn't take the exemption. $25,000 is added to the pot.

The interlude between missions should have been left out of this episode. A road trip with a bunch of strangers is sure to draw arguments. Of course, Paul gave the most entertaining quote after a lemon was thrown at him.

Mission #2: Travelers

Three teams of two are made up and have to take various forms of transport to reach a statue. For every team that makes it to the status, $10,000 was rewarded. Craig is suspected of being the mole after throwing out the secret word that gave him special status during the mission. But as it stands, Mark was the quickest person to point out how it was nearly impossible and he talked the rest of the team into bailing out of the mission. Again, it looks like Mark is the more suspicious one.

A difference of one second on test scores leaves Kristen as the loser tonight. I don't think anyone thought she was the mole anyway.

So this was a pointless week as far as clues are concerned. Mark is still my prime suspect with Craig as a possibility. If Mark's not the mole, he's the one who will be winning.
